Abstract

Human Resources are the main factor in driving a company's success in the era of global competition. Globalization triggers the emergence of competition in various fields such as economic, social, cultural, political, environmental and others. Progress in these various fields is increasing, so now every company is trying and being required to obtain appropriate and competent human resources to encourage the company's success so that it is able to compete with other companies. This research analyzes the influence of the strategic role of human resource management in companies, considering the importance of the role of human resources in a company's competitive advantage. The purpose of this writing is to determine the extent of research development related to this topic. The method used in this research is an exploratory approach with the library research method reviewing the content or identifying several articles from both national and international journals. The research results show that the role of human resources also has an impact on the image and reputation of the organization. In the digitally connected global era, information about organizations can be easily accessed by a wide audience. When HR shows professional, ethical and responsible behavior, this builds trust and satisfaction with customers, employees and other stakeholders so that the role of human resource management strategy is very important to encourage competitive advantage in the era of globalization.
