Abstract

Abstract

This research is qualitative research. Research develops concepts and aggregates facts, with grounded theory approaches. Islamic psychology as the Islamic view of “man” based on Islamic sources (Al-Qur’an and As-Sunnah). This is what distinguishes Islamic psychology from modern psychology based on philosophical speculation about man. This Islamic psychological approach can be used to uncover the secrets of the Sunnatullah that work on man (ayat nafsani), which means finding the foundations, elements, processes, functions, and laws of the human psyche. In formulating the concept of human psychology Islam does not only look from the physical aspects (body) but also studies the soul by observing the body, the condition of the body as the mirror of the state of the soul. Islamic psychology also explains man by starting with what God says about man, because in man there is a complexity that only God can understand.
