Abstract

This study discusses Community Participation in Agro-tourism Development as a Tourist Attraction in Kebon Ayu Village, Gerung District, West Lombok Regency. The research results are described in several answers to the focus of the problem, namely how is the potential for developing Agrotourism and Forms of community participation in developing Agrotourism in Kebon Ayu Village. By using the method of observation, interviews, documentation and using descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of the study show that agro-tourism in Kebon Ayu Village has very promising potential and is worth continuing to develop. This village has a number of potentials that can become pillars in supporting the economy of its people. One important factor that supports the development of agro-tourism in Kebon Ayu Village is the high level of community participation in various related activities. Community active participation is an important aspect in advancing agro-tourism. Through their participation, various ideas and innovations can be implemented to produce attractive products and services for visitors. With the interaction between visitors and the local community, the travel experience becomes richer and more meaningful.
