Abstract

Development of Setanggor Tourism Village as a Tourism Village cannot be separated from the cultural potential of the Setanggor Village community. Pokdarwis is one of the forms of institutions formed by the community that has responsibility and supports the creation of a conducive climate. The role of pokdarwis together with the government must continue to be pursued so that the development of tourism villages is felt optimally. The purpose of this study is to find out how the role of pokdarwis in developing halal tourism attractions in Setanggor Central Lombok and what are the obstacles faced by Pokdarwis in developing halal tourism in Setanggor Village, Central Lombok. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The stages of data analysis conducted in this study are data reduction, data display, conclusion and drawing. The results of this study show that the role of pokdarwis setanggor in developing tourism is divided into four roles, namely the role of pokdarwis as a planner, the role of pokdarwis as an organizer, the role of pokdarwis as a driver and the role of pokdarwis as a controller. The role that has been carried out by pokdarwis to the maximum is the role of pokdarwis as a planner while the role of pokdarwis as an organizer, driver and controller has not been carried out to the maximum. The obstacles faced by pokdarwis in developing tourism in Setanggor village are divided management and lack of awareness of pokdarwis administrators to cooperate, and lack of cooperation with other agencies..
