Abstract

This research aims to describe the effectiveness of the STAD learning model with LKPD in the form of mind mapping to improve learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 1 Rindi Umalulu. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of pre-cycle, cycle 1 and cycle 2 activities, with a total of 30 students. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. In pre-cycle activities, the overall learning outcomes of students were found to be an average of 53.2, the number of students who completed it was 2 people (6.6%) and those who did not complete it were 28 people (93.3%). Furthermore, in cycle 1, student activities consisting of affective aspects included 9 students with good grades and 21 students with fair grades. Then the learning results in cycle 1 average value for all students was 65.4 students who completed it consisting of 14 people (46.6%) who did not complete it consisting of 16 people (53.3%). In affective cycle 2 there were 16 students with excellent predicate and 14 students with good predicate. Learning results in cycle 2, the average score for all students was 76.5. The students who completed it consisted of 25 people (83.3%) and the students who did not complete it consisted of 5 people (16.6%). Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the STAD learning model with LKPD in the form of Mind Mapping can improve learning outcomes at SMA Negeri I Rindi Umalulu.
