ANALISA IMPLEMENTASI PELATIHAN PRE-RETIREMENT PLAN UNTUK PERSIAPAN MASA PENSIUN KARYAWAN DI HOTEL SARI PACIFIC JAKARTA

Abstract

Employees are one of the most important company’s assets, especially in the tourism industry. For this reason, company is obliged to maintain and develop their employees. One way to develop their employees is through giving them training. There are a lot of trainings and one of them is pre-retirement plan training. This training is intended for employees who are about to retire. Employees will face different  circumstances from before retirement and after retirement. This often confused many people and make them worry about what to do when they retire (future plan). One of the companies in the tourism industry that implement this type of training is Sari Pacific Jakarta hotel. This research was conducted to find out what preparations and materials that were received by employees to be ready for their retirement.This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the methods of observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the pre- retirement plan training at the Sari Pacific Jakarta hotel itself was a form of appreciation from the company towards its employees. Employees who have received training are also satisfied and ready to have their retirement with guidance from training vendors for the next 2 years
