Abstract

The learning methods used in the learning process are an important key to student learning outcomes. Student learning outcomes really depend on the learning methods used by the teacher. If the learning method used is boring then it cannot encourage students to become active students in learning. This is proven by the teacher's learning method which only uses books and lectures as learning media. And does not encourage students to become active students in their learning. The aim of this research is to analyze Mathematics Textbooks Based on Bruner's Learning Theory in Class V of SD Negeri 101954 Pantai Cermin Kanan. This research used all teachers and students at SD Negeri 101954 Pantai Cermin Kanan, Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Bedagai Regency as research subjects. Data collection was carried out by means of interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that mathematics textbooks based on Bruner's learning theory are very effectively implemented in class V of SD Negeri 101954 Pantai Cermin Kanan, Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Bedagai Regency
